ggplot2 is a popular R package for data visualization that uses layers to build high quality plots. In this lesson, you will learn to use ggplot2 to create and modify scatter plots including a PCA plot and Volcano plot, which are common plots used in the analysis of next generation sequencing data. 

This lesson is recommended to individuals with some beginner-level experience with R programming. Lesson materials will be provided at the beginning of the lesson if you would like hands-on experience. To follow along consider using a local installation of RStudio or RStudio server on Biowulf.
