Emerging artificial intelligence—especially generative models and deep learning—is transforming biomedical and biological science. In this talk, Professor Juexin Wang of Indiana University will present case studies that reveal how AI is reshaping core research paradigms, from protein-structure prediction and genomics to drug discovery and medical diagnostics. He will also introduce new directions underway in the Wang Lab, including uncovering rules of spatial organization and discovering markers in spatial omics.
