Data Visualization in ggplot: Customizations

About this Class

This one hour and half online training builds on the topics covered in the Data Visualization in ggplot training. It provides an overview of options for working with dates, times, and options for customizing a ggplot graph.  You must have taken Data Visualization in R: ggplot training to be successful in this training. 

By the end of this training, attendees should be able to: 

• Describe options for time series data 
• Create a line plot in ggplot 
• Learn how to facet a plot 
• Demonstrate options for customizing the title and axis 
• Apply different ggplot themes 

Attendees are expected to have a basic understanding of R and RStudio. In order to proceed, attendees should have the done following:  

1. Installed R and RStudio 
2. Taken Introduction to R and RStudio training. If not, here are some resources for getting started:
