About this Class

This interactive 1.5-hour workshop introduces participants to prompt engineering for effective AI communication. Through engaging, collaborative activities, attendees will learn to design clear, specific prompts that yield high-quality AI outputs for both technical and administrative tasks. The session will cover foundational AI concepts, common pitfalls, and best practices in prompt design, culminating in a practical template for immediate application. Participants will gain actionable strategies to enhance their daily workflows, mitigate AI-related risks, and confidently leverage generative AI as a powerful tool for improved efficiency and better results.

This is a hybrid event being offered online and in-person. Due to limited in-person seating, we highly encourage staff to join virtually. Please bring a laptop or phone to participate in the in-person session.
