From Scientific Question to Evidence Brief with Copilot Researcher
To Know
About this Class
Scientific teams frequently need to understand an unfamiliar topic, reconcile information from multiple sources, and communicate findings to colleagues or leadership. In this hands-on course, participants will develop structured research requests, define scope and evidence requirements, compare findings across internal and external sources, and produce concise evidence briefs with citations, limitations, unresolved questions, and recommended next steps. The session will emphasize iterative prompting, source validation, and retaining human scientific judgment throughout the research process. This course builds on existing NIH interest in using Researcher for emerging research opportunities, strategic planning, evidence synthesis, and collaboration discovery.
