His research combines experimental biology (high-throughput sequencing, epigenetics, CRISPR screening, synthetic biology) with computational methods (bioinformatics, machine learning, artificial intelligence) – for cancer, immunology, and precision medicine (https://www.bocklab.org & https://twitter.com/BockLab). Before coming to Vienna, he was a postdoc at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and a PhD student at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics. Christoph Bock is also scientific coordinator of the Biomedical Sequencing Facility of CeMM and MedUni Vienna, and he coordinates an EU Horizon 2020 project that contributes single-cell sequencing of organoids to the Human Cell Atlas. His research awards include the Otto Hahn Medal of the Max Planck Society, ERC Starting and Consolidator grants, and the Overton Prize of the International Society for Computational Biology.   WebEx Link*: https://cbiit.webex.com/cbiit/j.php?MTID=m6f268bdc900b5c9316e8d4e1bc165db0 Meeting Number: 172 715 2338 Meeting Password: wzBJQap7@45 Audio-Only Call-In Number: 1-650-479-3207 (Access code: 172 715 2338
