It is suitable for those who took BTEP's recent Bioinformatics for Beginners course series (https://bioinformatics.ccr.cancer.gov/docs/bioinformatics-for-beginners-2025/) or would like a refresher on basic Unix commands. Topics covered will include:

- Unix command syntax
- Navigating through the Unix directory structure.
- Copy, removing, moving, and renaming files as well as directories.
- Working with software installed on Biowulf.
Participants are highly encouraged to suggest topics that they would like addressed using the form located at https://forms.office.com/g/n6HBucPASa. A personal Biowulf account is not to attend. Biowulf staff will provide student accounts for this session.
